Johnny Firespring: 21st Birthday

“Wild Card Wanderer”

An original Freeside street rat. Johnny was raised in a disheveled second-story apartment. His mom died during childbirth, so he was raised by his father. They bummed around the more urban areas lining the outer edge of NCR territory. His father took whatever jobs he could to get ahead, but never did. When Johnny was 17, his dad was robbed and shot down right in front of their home. Johnny saw it happen through the small peephole and silently waited until the mugger had left before attempting to retrieve the body.

That was 3 years ago, and now Johnny generally has a real sense of humor and charm to him, picking it up from all the late-night card games with those King fellas. He one day plans on getting into the Strip and making it big. Dreaming of all the money and women he’ll have on a whim, and how he wouldn’t have to take shit from anyone. Not Mr. House, not the NCR, and not any of the assholes he’s had to work for over the years.

Johnny has a plan, and with it he will finally have enough to buy his way into the Strip.
